Brandetta is a wife and mother. A proud sister of five and a grandmother of three, roles that have shaped her deep understanding of care, communication, and resilience. She is passionate about using lived experiences to build solutions to complex public health changes.

As a Public Allies fellow at Data You Can Use, Brandetta focuses on strengthening community communications and helping connect people with the tools and information they need. She believes in the power of kindness, and storytelling to bridge divides and spark collective action. Outside of her work, Brandetta channels her creativity into making candles that look like desserts and find beauty in everyday moments, a reflection of her belief that joy, like change, begins close to home.
