Operations Manager

Michelle Guthrie approaches endeavors with a proactive mindset, driven by her commitment to uplifting others and improving results. Her diverse background in business and the arts provides a unique perspective that informs her approach. Michelle holds an MBA from the University of Illinois with a concentration in Marketing, and studied fashion at both Parsons School of Design in Paris and Purdue University, earning a bachelor’s in Apparel Design & Technology.

Michelle began her career in the retail and wholesale apparel industries, where she optimized operations through business process redesign, technology implementation, and comprehensive training programs to ensure successful adoption across departments. Leveraging strong communication and analytical skills, she fostered collaboration among stakeholders, building relationships and enhancing efficiency. She later transitioned into business analyst and marketing consultant roles, applying her skills in project management and strategic decision-making across multiple sectors.

Beyond corporate life, Michelle has pursued her lifelong passion for dance as an International Ballroom and Latin competitor, coach, choreographer, adjudicator and entrepreneur. She represented the U.S. at the World Games and founded ballroom studios in Indianapolis and Milwaukee. She continues to share her love of dance with others and can often be found on the dance floor, enjoying salsa, swing, or tango, or teaching classes.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys reading, being outdoors, exploring restaurants, and experiencing Milwaukee’s vibrant arts and culture scene, all while cherishing time with her son.
